Leslie C. Corbly
Leslie Corbly was raised in Norman, Oklahoma after her family relocated from Warner Robins, Georgia in 1999. Leslie attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Constitutional Studies. Following her undergraduate studies Leslie attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While attending law school Leslie and her husband Timothy started a real estate holding company and began investing in real estate in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. During her last year of law school Leslie was selected to participate as a Fellow in George Mason University’s Frederic Bastiat Fellowship program where she studied the interrelation of law, economics, and political economy.
Prior to joining Shears, Powell, & Hanner Leslie handled consumer debtor bankruptcy claims in the Western District of Oklahoma, assisting individuals and families in relieving their burden of debt through the filing of chapter 7 & chapter 13 cases under the Federal Bankruptcy Code.
Leslie currently resides with her husband Timothy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with their four dogs. In her free time Leslie enjoys spending time with her family & friends, running, hiking, reading, writing, and painting.
