Raegan Sifferman was born and raised in Southwest Missouri. She took an interest in the law at a young age, as she spent much of her childhood at the courthouse with her father who is a circuit judge in Missouri. Raegan witnessed her father successfully create and run a veteran’s court program which provided veterans with programs to help them with drug addiction and employment issues. Raegan later attended Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Raegan attended law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. She participated in the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity and graduated with honors. After law school, she earned an associate position at one of the most prestigious defense firms in Oklahoma City, where she practiced primarily workers’ compensation defense, handling a large caseload with varying complexities.

In 2017, Raegan joined her law school friend to create a law firm in Durant, Oklahoma that focused on family law, criminal law, and municipal law. She learned valuable legal skills, which allowed her to expand her knowledge base while obtaining jury trial experience. Due to unforeseen health issues, Raegan’s partner elected to take a break from the practice of law, so she moved her practice back to Oklahoma City and joined Shears Powell and Hanner as an associate attorney specializing in workers’ compensation defense. In her free time, Raegan enjoys bicycling, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her sweet yorkie, Ella
